Event_log shows the following error and Shareplex is not replicating:
"Error: Unexpected Oracle error: ORA-01089: immediate shutdown in progress - no operations are permitted"
This happens if Oracle was shut down while Shareplex is running. Capture/reader may be stopped due to error because their connections to Oracle were killed.
This error can show even if Oracle has been restarted.
You may need to manually start capture/read if these two processes are stopped due to error.
OR
Bounce Shareplex to resolve this issue.
Next time make sure to first shut down Shareplex, then Oracle. When starting, first bring up Oracle, then Shareplex.
