When launching Toad for SQL Server the following error message is received:
Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).
User can click through error message and continue.
The GUID got corrupted one time when being written to Toad's files.
1. Launch toad and go to About box.
2. Select the Application Data Directory link.
3. Shut down Toad. (Important to do this as it writes to these files on shutdown)
4. Rename the Application Data Directory.
5. Restart Toad and see if the error is gone. If so you can then go back and copy back in connections.xml, etc.
