How To: Create mailNickname value of mail-enabled contact in AD as userID value of the GroupWise user (4211518)

By default, GroupWise to Active Directory (AD) user connector creates mailNickname (Alias) value of the mail-enabled contact in AD as userid.domain.com format.

Is there a way to change the format to userID without domain.com with a script?

1- Go to Advanced Settings of the connector

2- Select Users tab

3- Select Provision Attributes tab

4- Select Key: mailNickname

5- Press Remove button

6- Press Add Script button

7- Select Target Attribute: mailNickname

8- Add the following

• $parts = $srcObj["mail"].split('@')
  $values = $parts[0]
  $values

9-  Select OK

10- Select OK

11- Perform a new sync

Please perform the same process for Update Attributes as well.
