How to Login with 2Factor authentication to the Kace SMA (4277082)

This article provides steps on how to log in to the Kace SMA User or Admin portal when 2Factor authentication is enabled

When 2FA is enabled on the SMA, the first time you log in to the user/admin portal, you will be requested to configure your Google authenticator to be able to generate the needed codes to log in.

To set up the Google Authenticator and log in to the SMA:

1. Open your browser and go to http://YourSMAFQDN.com
2. Log in to the page using your credentials
3. You will be presented with the “Configure Two-Factor Authentication” page, follow the instructions listed

Note: if you choose to skip you will be able to log in, but keep in mind you will have a transition window to get the Google authenticator configured, you can find out what the window is by asking your SMA Admin.
