  The error message: An unexpected error has occurred with "iPad". Provisional Enrollment Failed, is received when preparing an iOS device with Apple Configurator.

• Causa

  The iOS device has no network connectivity and needs to be on WiFi or Cellular service for the enrollment to succeed.

• Resolución

  You need to create a Wi-Fi configuration profile within Apple Configurator that will connect the device to your Wi-Fi. Generally, you specify the Wi-Fi SSID, WPA2 security and Wi-Fi password. See Solution 244694 for more info.

   

  Alternatively, you can manually connect the device to WiFi and the enrollment should automatically continue.
