Some Foglight users are locked and have their passwords expired. According to the documentation a user should be automatically unlocked after 15 minutes, but this does not always work. Although the administrator unlocks the user, that user can set a new password. However that user will be locked out straight away when trying to set the new password.
The Foglight administrator needs to unlock the user and set a new one time password.
To avoid the situation, increase the password expiring parameter to a higher value, for example to 365 days.
To set the new value:
1. Go to "Administration | Users & Security | Password Policy Settings"
2. Change the parameter "User Password Expires In Days" to an appropriate value
A change request has been submitted FGLUI-8122 to avoid this deadlock situation, if a user is locked and has an expired password at the same time.
