Oracle or SQL Server agents are added to Foglight but are not appearing in Global view (4212137)

Oracle or SQL Server agent exists and is collecting data, but it is not displayed in the Databases dashboard.

The following error may be present in the Management Server logs:

Caused by: com.quest.nitro.service.sl.interfaces.scripting.ScriptingException: com.quest.nitro.service.sl.interfaces.scripting.ScriptAbortException: groovy.lang.MissingPropertyException: No such property: topologyObject for class: system._dbwc_common.scripts.wrapperTopologyObjectInUI

CAUSE 1

Duplicate host objects, no Infrastructure agent is present, or there are problems with its collections.

CAUSE 2

Defect FOG-4972

1. In script console, search for "DBO_Instance" or "SQL Server Instance" objects and filter by the problematic agent.
2. Take note of the host listed in the "active_host" property.
3. Search for "Host" objects and filter by the host name in the "active_host" property.
4. If duplicate host objects, verify which one has valid values in the "cpus", "memory" and "storage" properties and proceed to remove the one that has "Unset" properties.
5. If no duplicates and "cpus", "memory" and "storage" are "Unset", review if the Infrastructure agent is present and resolve data collection issues as needed.

1. Stop the agent
   • Expand Administration | Agents | Agent Status
   • Highlight the agent
   • Click on the Deactivate button
2. Delete the agent data
   • Expand Databases | Support Dashboard | Database Technical Support
   • Select Clear Agent Data
   • Highlight the agent to be deleted
   • Click the Delete Selected Agent Data button
3. Clear the agent model data
   • Expand Databases | Support Dashboard | Database Technical Support
   • Select Clear Agent Model Data
   • Highlight the agent to be deleted
   • Click the Delete Selected Agent Model Data button
4. Delete the agent from the Agent Status page
   • Expand Administration | Agents | Agent Status
   • Highlight the agent to be deleted
   • Click on the Delete button
