ER Node deployments fails with the error message "The Node account should be a member of the group Reporter_Discovery_Nodes" even when the account is already a member of the group. -
Resolución
The credentials of the account used to deploy the node are not being decrypted properly or they are corrupted.
The solution is the following:
- Open the Configuration Manager
- Go to System > Configuration > Credentials Manager
- Look for the account used, select it and click on Edit
- Click on Edit Password and re-enter the password for the account
- Click on the Authenticate button.
