ER Node deployments fails with the error message ""The Node account should be a member of the group Reporter_Discovery_Nodes"

ER Node deployments fails with the error message "The Node account should be a member of the group Reporter_Discovery_Nodes" even when the account is already a member of the group. 

The credentials of the account used to deploy the node are not being decrypted properly or they are corrupted. 
The solution is the following: 

- Open the Configuration Manager
- Go to System > Configuration > Credentials Manager
- Look for the account used, select it and click on Edit
- Click on Edit Password and re-enter the password for the account
- Click on the Authenticate button.

If issue persist try installing the node manually in the target server by running the Node MSI installer file from an elevated CMD prompt and then associate the node to an existing cluster.
