How to run a folder permissions report against a folder and the folders underneath it -
Description
Adding a path to the "Include the following paths" parameter in the permissions report returns permissions only for that folder, not folders underneath it. Need to report on all permissions under this path. -
Resolution
Add the path with an asterix on the end. For example "C:\Folder1\Folder2\*" will include Folder2's permissions as well as all other folders underneath it. Alternatively if the exact path is unknown, run the report using the parameter "*Folder2*" and the Report will search the entire database for the folder and report back all results.
