Use Case: At some point, our network interfaces eth0 and eth1 were set up as a bond, possibly out of the box? We have a 10gb DAC cable connected to the box right now with no intention of adding a second cable at this time. Without that second NIC connected, the box always throws up an alert. Is there a way to remove the bonding or ignore the error?
Alarm in question:
In order to prevent the DR from flagging an alert, we can remove eth1 from the bond and the messages should not alarm. It can be added back to the bond when ready.
Here are the necessary commands to achieve this goal:
network --show
