I am trying to install Toad on a Windows 7 PC and I’m getting the following error:
"Activation context generation failed for "X:\10.5.1\Toad DBA Suite for Oracle 10.5.1 R2 Commercial.exe".
Error in manifest or policy file "X:\10.5.1\Toad DBA Suite for Oracle 10.5.1 R2 Commercial.exe" on line 0. Invalid Xml syntax.
Please turn off the UAC option for Windows 7 and see if it makes a difference with Toad?
Windows 7, go to (Orb) Start Button and type "UAC" into the search bar. Lower the UAC bar all the way down, click Apply, and then try Toad.
