Select currently monitored connections from the Spotlight Browser.

To view an existing connection:

Select the connection from the Spotlight browser Recent connections or Connections menu.

This opens the Spotlight Home Page for the connection. See "Spotlight Home Pages" (page 1) for more information.

Notes:

Connections are color coded by alarm severity. Connections take on the color of the most urgent severity now active on the system being monitored. See "Alarm Severity and Color Scheme" (page 1) for more information.
You can view/modify connection properties. See "Connection Properties Dialog - Details Page" (page 1) for more information.
You can add connections to the Spotlight Browser. See "Connections" (page 1) for more information.
Selecting a VMware connection opens the status page for the virtual machine. See "View the Status of Virtual Machines" (page 1) for more information.
Reporting and Trending allows you to access views and reports to assist with long-term trend analysis and associated reporting. See "About Spotlight Reporting and Trending" (page 1) for more information. This feature requires Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise.
