Configuring the DR2000v

The following steps describe how to set up and configure QoreStor for the first time.

After deploying QoreStor, wait for the virtual appliance to boot completely. It takes approximately 10-20 minutes to self-extract the installation package and all of the components.
Log on to the QoreStor virtual machine (VM) console using the default Username: qsservice and Password: changeme.
The QoreStor Menu is displayed.
On the Initial System Configuration Wizard screen, type yes and press <Enter> to finish the Initial System Configuration on network settings.
Follow through the wizard to configure the required network entries and confirm the configuration settings.

NOTE:

If DHCP configuration is used, all of the entries are done automatically.
If Static IP configuration is used, all of the entries must be entered manually.

After the required network settings are configured, the VM will run the initial configuration, which may take up to 3-4 minutes to complete.
