Errors “Cannot establish secure connection” and “Check that the network security model is the same o (4299072)

The following errors are observed in the event_log:

i. If the SSL password differs across different SharePlex instances whereby this instance has a different password than the other instances, change the SSL password on the instances where it is different from other instances. If unsure, then change the passwords in all instances so that they are identical on all of them.

ii. If the SSL password is enabled on this instance but not on other instance(s), then also enable them on the other instance(s) which are lacking the password.

If the password needs to be changed (as detailed in para i above) , then carry out the following steps:

1. Shutdown SharePlex

sp_ctrl (alvsupl17:9138)> shutdown

1. While in /proddir/bin directory, issue “sp_security –setup” at the OS prompt and change the SSL password as appropriate:
