RESOLUTION #1:
Ensure the backup has the necessary information for a system state restore (DIT file, SYSVOL, Registry, etc). For more information see the below KB:

RESOLUTION #2:
The FE console is looking for the DCs backups for the FQDN of the domain, ie. dcname.domain.com. The DC name listed in the forest recovery console is exactly the name it is looking for. If the DC was added to the recovery manager console as DCname.otherdnssuffixname.com then the forest recovery console will not find it as a registered backup. Add the DC specifically using the domain name and create a new backup.
If the backups are still not shown after corrected the FQDN, check to see if the backup path where the backups are stored show the incorrect FQDN or Domain name as well. If so, try creating a new collection, add the DC to the collection and run a backup. Confirm the backup path has the same FQDN as what is shown in the FR console.
