"ldap_connect() failed" in BackupAgent64.txt log error when backing up DC -
Beschreibung
When backing up dc you can see "Errro" in the console without additional details, BackupAgent64.txt log on the affected DC will contain following entry:
Error LDAP ldap_connect() failed

Ursache
This error indicates that DC couldn't resolve members from another domains. -
Lösung
You need to resolve connectivity issue between DC and another domain that contains information about foreign member.
Alternatively you can disable group membership resolving which won't allow to restore members from another domain but will allow to complete backup procedure.
In collection properties select Advanced tab and uncheck "When backing up global catalogue servers, collect group membership information from all domains within the Active Directory forest"
