Open 'SQL Management Studio'
Connect and login to the relevant SQL Instance
Expand 'Management'
Right click 'SQL Server Logs' | View | SQL Server Log
The Log File Viewer will open up. By default only the 'Current' Log will be selected. In most cases this is sufficient, in some scenarios the 'Archive #x' logs are needed to get more historical events.
Once the required SQL Server logs are selected.
Click 'Export'
Save the logs as .txt, .csv or .log
Send the gathered logs to your Technical Support engineer or attach them to your case from the Quest Support Portal
