Lösung
It is possible to do so as QSA is backward compatible when it comes to Operating System. For example, the Space Manager with LiveReorg version 8.5 is stated to be compatible with Solaris 11 but it should also work with Solaris 10. However, one may want to test it out and may eventually want to move to the stated Operating System version. It should only be used as a stop gap arrangement. Moreover, if it has any issues, one may want to move to the compatible Operating System version.
