When trying to join a workstation to the domain, the following error is logged:
Error Code: 2699. Detail: . Please refer Appendix E in User Guide for troubleshooting the error.
This error looks to be a result of a specific (but undetermined) configuration within the Windows 7 OS, which at this time, is not a supported operating system for the workstation updater.
There is no workaround in place aside from having the workstation added to the domain via native Microsoft methods.
