On previous Windows versions like 7 default browser could be set using a registry entry, however and as Windows 10 changed the way how default browser is set there is an alternative to accomplish this:
1) An application association file can be created for every browser, and place it on a shared folder in network (it can be the NETLOGON folder in any domain controller), to use the files please use those available for download in the attachment section.
2) On the Desktop Authority Manager Server a new Group Policy Template element must be created.
3) Click "Add/Remove ADMX Files" tab and search for WINDOWSEXPLORER.ADMX and click on that template file (one click).
4) Click "Settings" tab.
5) Navigate to Templates > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > File Explorer and locate policy "Set a default associations configuration file". Select the policy and click "Edit"
6) Change "Policy state" to Enabled.
7) Type the path to the association file in "Default Associations Configurations File" for example %LOGONSERVER%\NETLOGON\AppAssocChrome.txt
8) Click "Confirm"
9) Click Validation Logic and select the conditions to select the devices where this element will be applied if needed, if no validation logic is selected then the element will be applied to all computers along the organization.
10) Click Save and Replicate the changes.
If FireFox is the browser to be set as default then use the AppAssocFireFox.txt file, for Internet Explorer, use AppAssocIE.txt and so on, and create as many elements as different wanted browsers are to be applied and use the validation logic to apply every different default browser as needed.
Another useful option is to set the default web page in Firefox, a batch file can be created (similar to FirefoxPage.bat attached, and placed in any network shared folder), and then an application launcher can be created as the one on image below.
