Go to the Support Portal and access the Foglight - Technical Documentation then search for the following items for details and help in the design and creation of custom Dashboards, Views, and Reports in Foglight:

• Web Component Guide  - See starting with the section "Configuring Views".
• Web Component Tutorial - Recommended to read this document in order to learn about custom designs/views/dashboards/reports.

You may see the term referenced "WCF" in documentation or by Quest Support.  WCF stands for "Web Component Framework" and is everything "GUI" for Foglight.
