Cartridges that are not compatible with the 5.9.1 and higher FMS will be flagged when running the Pre-Upgrade checker; for the Foglight cartridge for SQL Server additional cleanup may be needed after uninstalling it from the Cartridge Inventory dashboard.
For a complete cleanup of older cartridges and proceeding with the upgrade, the following steps should be completed:
If cartridges that have been already uninstalled from the Cartridge Inventory are still listed in the pre-checker tool output; these can be manually removed from the Foglight installation directory:
The "IntelliProfile 188.8.131.52" listed in the initial output for the pre-checker tool will no longer be listed once the database cartridge containing it is manually removed. This cartridge will remain enabled even after the manual cleanup and upgrade of the databases cartridge to the version required for the Foglight upgrade.
When the Foglight Management Server is upgraded, this cartridge, which no longer belongs to the databases cartridges, will be automatically upgraded to 5.9.1 along with other core cartridges; it is not necessary to uninstall it.
