The extraenous addresses can be removed using an Email Address Policy in Exchange. Before doing so, make sure that the proxy addresses are no longer required otherwise NDRs will occur and this could become a widescale problem.
Before decommisioning CMN, ensure that the mail flow had been routed properly to the Exchange environment via MX records
There are 3 component in CMN.
1) For Mail Connector, ensure the all the mail routing had been removed and no traffic will be going through the CMN server between Domino and Exchange. Once everything is checked, just uninstall the Mail connector component.
2) For Directory Connector, as long as the migration is complete and synchronization is no longer required, uninstall the Directory Connector, as this communicates via LDAP. It is possible to stop the LDAP service on the Domino server too.
3) For Freebusy, remove the autodiscover record in the DNS that points to CMN. Replace it with an entry that points to Exchange and ensure that other Exchange based sercices that reply on Autodiscover are not affected. Once everything is verfied, uninstall the QCalCon service from the Domino server, and the FreeBusy Service from the CMN server.
It would be adviseable to backup the whole Coexistence Manager for Notes directory as it contains configuration files and any settings and Connectors.
