How to clear SCM database tables for stuck crawl jobs -
Description
These SQL commands are used to determine if there is data in the database tables and delete all table contents. -
Cause
If scans have not completed, the cpItemIntervention, cpPiiActionsTaken and cpPiiQuarantineDocument database tables are probably empty or may have data. -
Resolution
This performs a count of records currently in each table but does not delete anything until you un-comment out the Delete statement.We typically run the query to see the number of records in the table, then we delete them and re-run the count statement again toconfirm all records have been deleted.

Additional Information
This is valid for ControlPoint versions 8.3 and older. In ControlPoint version 8.4, database tables were added to improve upon some crawling issues some customer are having.
