Some users do not have the ability to log in through ADSI or Active Directory Users and Computers, this is used to grant permissions for users on the Service Accounts for both products. -
Resolution
Our Installation Guide for both ControlPoint and Sensitive Content Manager require some changes on the Service Accounts as prerequisites. It is important to note that both ADSI and Active Directory Users and Computers Application work in the same way as long as the proper permissions for the user making the changes are in place.If you have any issue while using this accounts after permissions have been properly set in place, feel free to reach out to support@quest.com so we can provide you assistance.
