SharePoint Group created and not showing in hierarchy (4272646)

After a new SharePoint group is created, it does not show up in the ControlPoint hierarchy.

If there are no permissions assigned at any level, the SharePoint group will not show up in the ControlPoint hierarchy.

Assign the SharePoint group permissions at any level by doing the following:

1. Go to Site Settings > Site Permissions.

   

2. Select Grant Permissions.

   

3. Enter the affected SharePoint group (e.g. Test) and select any permission level (e.g. Read).

   

Once the group has been assigned a permission at any level, it will appear in the ControlPoint hierarchy the next time the application loads.
