After changing the Archive Manager website URL the 'ArchiveManager' folder in Outlook no longer functions and requires updating.
The Exchange Utility 'Create Outlook Archive Manager Folder' function will update an existing 'ArchiveManager' folder if one exists and not create a second folder.
Run the Exchange Utility as the ESM account to ensure rights for accessing the mailboxes. To update the folder in users’ Outlook mailboxes so they can access the updated Archive Manager URL complete the following steps:
1. Click File | Get Exchange Mailboxes
2. Enter the mailbox search criteria and click OK.
3. A list of mailboxes will be displayed, check the mailboxes in which you want to update the Archive Manager folder. All mailboxes are checked by default.
4. Click File | Create Outlook Archive Manager Folder.
5. In the Archive Manager URL box type the updated URL to the Archive Manager Web Site and click OK.
6. Verify that the URL is correct in the 'Is this the correct URL?' box. Click Yes to update the URL.
