Description
When attempting to start the Archive Manager Data Loader Service it will not start and gives an error: 'The service failed to start in a timely manner' and this is accompanied by an error in the DataLoaderWorker.exe.log file which reads: "String was not recognized as a valid Boolean"

Cause
The Temp folder under the profile of the account running the service is missing or corrupt. The Archive Manager Data Loader Service uses this Temp directory to store temp files along with it's Source Properties Config file. By default this directory is located here: C:\Documents and Settings\ArchiveMgr_Journal\Local Settings\Temp

Resolution
Browse to the location of where the Temp directory should be and create one. If there is already a file here called Temp then rename that Temp file and then create the Temp directory.
Restart the Archive Manager Data Loader Service
