Why are Exclusion rules based on subject not getting applied?
When an exclusion rule is set it looks for an exact match. Wild cards (*) need to be added in order to exclude any message with a specific word in the subject, regardless if it is only word in the subject or not.
Use Wildcards.
Rather than:
Subject: spam
Use:
Subject: *spam*

ST65135 has been submitted todevelopment to specify this requirement in future drafts of the Archive Manager Administration Guide.
This is expected behaviour. The CR had been logged for the product document to include this information.
