Description
The retention process is failing due to deadlocks.
The following error is logged in the RPS.wlog
2015-12-01 23:11:21,715 [7] ERROR Configuration.AfterMailServiceBase - {{3169ef67-d24e-47be-a0b8-7de7394220da}} Error performing service dutiesSystem.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Transaction (Process ID XX) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction. -
Resolution
This issue has been resolved in Archive Manager 5.2 and above.
