1. Stop the Full Text Index (FTI) Service.
2. Launch AM Web UI admin console.
3. Select Index Dashboard.
4. Select the 'Message Index' tab at the top and 'Backup Settings' in the lower pane.
5. Amend the 'Parent Directory' field so that it points to the new location.
6. Perform steps 4 and 5 for the Attachment Partitions (i.e. click on 'Attachment Index' tab).
7. Start the FTI service.
You can verify in SQL that the locations have been changed by running this SQL query against the AM database:
SELECT BackupLocation FROM FTPartition WHERE BackupEnabled = 1
(the BackupLocation values should all be pointing to the new backup folder).
