Error: "Worker for 'Username' (MailboxID X) terminated unexpectedly with exit code XXXXX, state D (4252916)

The following error can occur while processing messages either by Data Loader or ESM services:

"Worker for 'Username' (MailboxID X) terminated unexpectedly with exit code XXXXX, state DEAD"

Some damaged messages can cause the error above in the event logs. If the poisoned message is not deleted from the mailbox then the error gets displayed again. Removing the poisoned message causes ESM or DL continue processing unless it hits another such message.
