Can an Archive Manager mailbox be undeleted if it is accidently deleted or is it gone forever? (4224114)

There may be an occasion where a mailbox is accidently deleted in haste. Is there a way to undelete the deleted mailbox?

All mailboxes that have been deleted are not deleted forever. They still remain in the Mailbox table in SQL and they can be undeleted.

To undelete a mailbox you will need to open the mailbox table, locate the deleted mailbox row and navigate to the column entitled "Deleted." In that column you will have the option to enter a value which will be 0 or 1. The values reflect Deleted =1 and Not Deleted = 0. If you change the deleted mailbox value from 1 to 0 and then search in the website you will see that the mailbox is visible and is no longer deleted
