Users are Being Prompted for Login Credentials When Accessing Archive Manager Through the Outlook -
Description
Users should be automatically logged into the Archive Manager website using their domain credentials but instead are receiving a Windows login prompt. This issue is more prevalent with users accessing Archive Manager though the Outlook link. Logging into the website using a web browser does not prompt for credentials.

Resolution
- Verify authentication method is correct in IIS. If you are using Forms authentication, Anonymous Authentication should be enabled and Windows/Integrated Authentication should be disabled. If you are using Windows/Integrated Authentication, Anonymous Authentication should be disabled.
- Add Archive Manager to Internet Explorers trusted site list. Open IE | Internet Options | Security | Trusted Sites | Custom Level. Scroll to the bottom of the list and verify Automatic logon with current user name and password is enabled.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\Quest Software\ArchiveManager\WebSite or C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\ArchiveManager\WebSite if you are on a 64-bit server. Rename default.htm to *.old.
- Create a new default.htm in the website directory and insert the following code:

</html>- Reset the website using IISRESET.

Additional Information
Replacing the default.htm with the above code will remove the Archive Manager loading splash screen.
