When you try to do a full text search on any word for subject and body the result will be:
"The query only contains words ignored by Full text search. Please enter more information and try again" this happens even if you have verified that the mail is already archived in the archive manager. You have also checked and verified that the Full Text Search and Full Text Index services are running. There are no visible errors on the Archive manager application logs
This is caused by the ArchiveManager full text index temp file folder is not created properly or shared properly
If Archive Manager Server and SQL server are on the same server:
Go to Archive Manager Configuration Editor, Check under General Items
Full Text Index Temp Path " \\servername\sharename
This folder must be assigned full rights to the Archive Manager service account group
If Archive Manager Server and SQL server are separate servers:
You will have to create a folder example: 'ArchiveManagerFullTextIndex' and share it out from the SQL server
Give 'Everyone' Full Control for Share Rights
Give the 'Archive Manager Service Users' Group Full Control for NTFS rights.
After these rights are applied save the configuration.
Restart the Full text index and search services
Additional Information:
If Archive Manager Server and the SQL Server are on separate servers, it will require the temp folder to be created and shared from the SQL server.
