Messages have been deposited into wrong mailbox -
Description
Due to a failed migration and roll back, Legacy Exchange Distinguished Names were re-used.. This resulted in messages being delivered into incorrect mailboxes. -
Cause
Legacy Exchange Distinguished Name were re-used and Exchange Store Management was not disabled for deleted users. -
Resolution
To prevent messages from being added to the wrong mailbox, manually disable Exchange Store Management on the mailbox that no longer has a valid Active Directory account. All new messages should be deposited into the correct mailbox.
BugID:503813 has been created to address this issue which occurs because the Active Directory Connector does not automatically disable Exchange Store Management for users deleted from Active Directory.
