When upgrading from Archive Manager 4.8 or earlier a new license file will be required to upgrade to 5.x so how do I get a license for Archive Manager version 5.x?
If you are upgrading from Archive Manager version 4.8 or earlier, you will need to exchange your license for an upgraded version.
During the license upgrade process you will be asked for your email address (use one which is registered on the Quest support site) and your License/Serial Number.

Quest Support does not have access to license files or licensing information.
If you are unsure of your License number you can see it in the Registry on your existing Archive Manager server:
1. Click Start, Run
2. At the Run prompt, type “regedit”
3. Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/AfterMail
a. 32-bit Servers use location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/AfterMail
4. Find the AfterMail Key and Company Name entries.
