Replication fails with Error: "API Call failed with message: Invalid configuration for device '11'"

When trying to replicate a VMware virtual machine, replication fails with the following error: "API Call failed with message: Invalid configuration for device '11'"
原因
After examining the failed VM settings from the vSphere client, it was observed that the VM had a DVD drive attached.
In ESXi 5.5 there is 2 new devices that are used for CD/DVD-Rom in a version 10 hardware virtual machine.
These 2 new devices were not in the code, so it attempted to replicate a virtual controller object which fails.
