To install vRanger on Windows 8 / 2012, you will need some additional software components.
原因
SQL Express 2005 is not supported on Windows Server 2012 or Windows 8. If you want to install vRanger on Windows Server 2012 or Windows 8, you must install vRanger using a supported database option other than SQL Express 2005. If you are installing the database on the vRanger server, it must be done prior to installing vRanger.
解决办法
Before installing vRanger on a Windows 2012 server:
Install the .NET Framework 3.5 features
Start theAdd Roles and Features Wizardand select the.NET Framework 3.5 Featuresoption
If you recieve a message warning you to Specify an alternate source path, click the Specify an alternate source path link at the bottom:
Specify the path to the installation media and browse to the Sources\SxS folder.
If you only have an ISO you can right click and mount the ISO. The mounted ISO will now appear as a new drive.
Complete the wizard
Install a compatible version of SQL server or plan to use a remote SQL server.
