Exported catalog from a 32-bit DB2 source and now importing to a 64-bit DB2 target client, however now not able to add or edit or delete any catalog entries into Toad for DB2; nothing happens after a successful add message.
Performing a List Database Directory command in the Command line (CLP), it's different from what is shown in the catalog in Toad for DB2.
WORKAROUND:
1. Launch Toad, close the connection Window.
2. Go to Help | About, click on the Application Data Directory link to open that path.
3. On the Help page, click on the Application Directory link to open that path.
4. Close Toad, but keep the two Windows Explorer paths open.
5. Uninstall Toad for DB via the Control Panel in the Add\Remove Programs.
6. After the uninstall, the two directories will remain; delete them.
7. Re-install Toad. The catalog should be empty.
Do not import any catalogs, rather add catalogs using the wizard which will function properly now.
STATUS:
See solution article 115020 for more information regarding issues with command line out of sync and Problem Management Record (PM) that is open with IBM.
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad for DB.
