Host name contains invalid characters ---> System.UriFormatException: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed.
说明
A core server has been upgrade Rapid Recovery from AppAssure. When attempting to perform a replication-related operation, such as adding a new machine to replication, the error appears, "Host name contains invalid characters ---> System.UriFormatException: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed."
原因
There is an illegal character in the core name field of the either the source or target core, or both. The cores may have been names something like "CORE 1."
解决办法
When the core(s) server is idle, stop and disable the core service. Open regedit to HKLM\AppRecovery\Core\Replication\RemoteCores\Masters\<GUID>\
Locate the HostName string value and edit it to remove the illegal character.
Next, open HKLM\AppRecovery\Core\Replication\RemoteCores\Slaves\<GUID>\ and perform the same operation on the HostNames value.
