解决办法
Reinstalling the VMware Tools from the virtual machine, and deselecting the "Volume Shadow Copy Services Support" option to prevent the VMware VSS Provider from being installed that creates conflict in creation of snapshots and said failure
Additionally the VSS can be deselected @ Vcenter/ESX&VM Level.
- Right click the Vcenter server, select set backup preferences, if in here we see use volume shadow services is selected deselect the option.
- Right click the ESX server, select set backup preferences, if in here we see use volume shadow services is selected deselect the option.
- Right click the VM giving this error, select set backup preferences, if in here we see use volume shadow services is selected deselect the option.
