PERC firmware version is out of date. (4039638)

After upgrading a DL series appliance with the most recent RUU installer, you may see Server Components are in a yellow status under the Appliance tab. This indicates the PERC drivers may be out of date. To verify:

1. Click Server Administrator, this will open the OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA).
2. On the left hand menu in OMSA expand to System | Storage to see if the PERC firmware is out of date.

1. Go to the following sites to download the latest PERC drivers for your DL series appliance:
   1. DL4300
   2. DL4000
   3. DL1300
   4. DL1000
2. Stop the Core service.
3. Run firmware updates as needed and reboot if required.
4. If reboot is not required, be sure to start the Core service.

If issue still persists, please have your Service Tab available and open a Service Request with Support.
