can't find uuid 'number' [at __main:282] (4042405)

When trying to restore a VM, it gives out error message " can't find uuid 'number' [at __main:282] " after it creates the VM on your host and when it tries to write the data it will fail with that error message.

You will see this error message in failed tasks.

Normally this error is caused by a DNS issue or a route issue

You can try to disable the unused Nic's in network mgnt after that is done do a ipconfig /flushdns or
Try using the IP address to restore the VM and not the FQDN.
