I'm getting the following error message below in my failed replication job log(s).
Job xxxxxxxxx Job (ID: 3d0af5401d4c436cbf958c00e61a7e0a) encountered a problem during replication from 95.1.0.44 to 95.1.10.44. The exact error message was:
Could not establish an SSH connection to host 95.1.10.44 from 95.1.0.44 on port 22 as user 'xxxxx': cat: /tmp/__ping_ff3afe6e23b340c5a46e7992396dc572__: No such file or directory
1. Putty and or ssh into each esx host involved with replication
2. Then “su –“ to root on each esx host and type “cd /root/.ssh”
3. Now type in “ls –lah” you will see a file called “ known_hosts”
4. Next type “rm known_hosts” enter “ y” this will remove the known_hosts file
5. After you have done this on each esx host you will need to simply ssh between each esx hosts from within the same putty window.
6. If you are logged into an esx host currently you simply type “ssh esxhost ip or fqdn”
7. Next you will see the following appear “The authenticity of host 'vc-esx35-xxxxx (10.x.x.x)' can't be established.RSA key fingerprint is xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx. Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)?” So type in “yes” at this point.
8. Continue now by ssh between all hosts in the environment and answering yes each time the following statement in quotes of step 7 appears
