Lost connection to the SQL database

Scenario #1
Open an Explorer Window, Navigate to vReplicator Install Directory, usually Program Files\Vizioncore\vReplicator\
Find connection.dat file. We want to remove any old entries in this file. Do this by appending ‘.old’ to the file name.
Once this is saved, restart vReplicator. vReplicator will direct you through the configuration steps. Enter VC credential, ESX host credentials, and finish setup.
Scenario #2
Open ‘Computer Manager” andnavigate to ‘Services’
Stop the’ vReplicator Job Service’ if it is running
Stop the ‘SQL Server (VIZIONCORE) service.Make sure it shuts down cleanly then restart the service.
Start the ‘vReplicator Job Service’
Check the Event Viewer/Application log for any errors from vzVscsService or MSSQL$VIZIONCORE
