Object reference not set to an instance of an object (4046286)

Trying to replicate a VM results in the error message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object

This can be due to the Source VMs running on a snapshot. Although from snapshot manager no snapshots are shown, if you highlight the VM and click on Edit settings, and select the Hard Disk it shows the path ends in 00000[x].vmdk. 'X" denotes a number.

Highlight the Source VM, click on take snapshot, uncheck all boxes (quiesce and memory) name the snapshot and click ok. Go back into snapshot manager and select Delete All.

Delete the old job in vReplicator, and recreate it. Run the new task.
