The application failed to start message appearing frequently

UC Analytics shows low performance and, together with UC Diagnostics, consumes much most of the servers resources. From time to time, UC Analytics failed to start with error message as "The application failed to start". After restarting UC Analytics services, or server, UC Analytics starts but the collection gets halted.

UC Analytics and UC Diagnostics are installed on the same server. 

Based on our recommendation as printed in the Deployment Guide of UC Analytics, where we recommend, not  to install UC Analytics and MessageStats on the same server, we also do not recommend an installation with both UC Analytics and UC Diagnostics on the same server.

Both UC Diagnostics and UC Analytics are gathering database applications and there will be an obvious contention for resources. Databases are heavy on the Input/Output, which can lead to performance problems when both are writing to the disk. UC Diagnostics is similar to MessageStats so the guidance is the same. 

This recommendation will also be consistent and will continue to be so for future releases, unless noted otherwise.
