During or after upgrading to UCA 8.4.2 Hotfix 8 or 8.5 RTM, the UC Analytics Data Engine service failed to start with Error 1053.
An example of what you might see during the installation
When we try starting it manually in Administrative Tools | Services, Error 1053 occurs "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion”.
When checking with Administrative Tools | Event Viewer, it indicated that "A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the UC Analytics Data Engine service to connect".
To resolve this issue, please follow the below stepsOpen the registry with administrative rights.
